About the Platform
IndieBeta is a product discovery and beta-testing platform for indie makers. Makers can submit their products to get early user feedback, and testers can discover quality indie products and help them grow through high-quality reviews.
Karma Rules
- Review reward：Submit a review/rating to earn +1 Karma
- Useful bonus：Earn +5 Karma when a product maker marks your review as "useful"
- Product approval：Earn +5 Karma when your submitted product is approved
- Review requirement：Reviews must be at least 30 characters
- Cooldown period：Makers cannot mark reviews as useful within 24 hours of product launch
- Daily limit：Each user can earn up to 10 Karma per day
Boost Feature
- Spend 10 Karma to boost your product
- Boost lasts 7 days, during which your product gets a ranking boost in listings
- Boosted products display a "Boosted" badge
Rating System
- 5 dimensions：Idea, UI Design, Speed, Usability, Recommendation
- Display threshold：Products need at least 3 reviews before showing an overall rating
- Each user can review each product only once
- Product makers cannot review their own products
Submission Flow
- Register and log in, then click "Submit Product" to fill in product info
- After submission, the product is "Under review" and only visible to you
- Once approved by an admin, the product becomes publicly visible
- If rejected, you can edit and resubmit
